Transfer Station

The Town of Duck Lake transfer station located north of town is no longer in service to the public.  The Town has partnered with the Rural Municipality of Duck Lake in a shared transfer station located SE of the hamlet of MacDowall just off Highway 11.  Town residents are directed to use this site for the disposal of excess bagged household garbage.  No large items will be accepted other than at the annual dropoff day in spring.  There is a free recycle collection bin on site.

Open the second and fourth Saturdays of every month from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM. 

Disposal fees:  $2 per bag of waste or $50 for a 1/2 ton load.  Town patrons will be invoiced for use.
