from December to February.
Golfing can be done at nearby courses in Rosthern and Waldheim.
Fishing and canoeing opportunities are available within short driving distance in
nearby lakes and rivers .
Quadding, Skiing and Snowmobiling can be done in the Nisbet Forest just north
of the community.
An outdoor pool in Rosthern provides swimming enjoyment in summer.
Beardy's Midget AAA Blackhawks Hockey
The Beardy's Blackhawks AAA team provides top notch hockey for hockey enthusiasts of all ages in the Beardy's - Duck Lake area. Home ice for the team is the Beardy's Memorial Arena located approx. 8km west of Duck Lake on highway #212 on the Beardy's & Okemasis Willow Cree First Nation.
