Annual Pilgrimage to our Lady of Lourdes
July 15th, 2010 - July 16th, 2010
The site of Our Lady of Lourdes-St.Laurent Shrine is located 6 kms, more of less, N-NE of Duck Lake on the West Bank of The South Saskatchewan River. This is Historical settlement which dates back to the 1800's, and has been the site of Annual Pilgrimages for over 125 years. The site served as refuge for women and children during the uprising of 1885. It is also where Louis Riel set up his Provissional Government in 1885.
